Taylor Gas, Heating & Air cares about the communities in which we serve. We wish to support charitable organizations, events and sponsorships, as funds are available, that benefit our community and the people that live within it.

We are calling on our customers to vote for an organization that is important to them. During this season of giving, we are featuring Southern Maryland Food Bank, Rebuilding Together Charles County, and Hospice of St. Mary’s.

Each of these nonprofits does amazing work in our communities', so please take a moment to read through their missions below and visit their website to learn more or donate directly. The organization with the most votes at the end of the active voting period will receive $2,000. Second place will receive $1,000, and third will receive $500. To show support for an organization submit your votes below through December 31st, 2025. You may vote once every 24 hours. Thank you for participating!

Southern Maryland Food Bank

Southern Maryland Food Bank

The food bank supplies emergency food to 35 food pantries in the region. In response to increasing food insecurity, the Southern Maryland Food Bank also manages a local food pantry, a food truck, a community garden and Snack Sak programs at area schools for at-risk children and senior living centers for senior citizens.

Rebuilding Together

Rebuilding Together Charles County

Rebuilding Together Charles County is the volunteer organization started in 1990 that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the houses of low-income homeowners, elderly and disabled, so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety, and independence. After months of planning and preparation, Rebuilding Together Charles County culminates in a National Rebuilding Day on the last Saturday in April. Last year over 800 volunteers of all ages, faiths, and walks of life come together to help neighbors in the American barn-raising tradition.

MedStar Health: Hospice of St. Mary’s

Hospice of St. Mary's is a not-for-profit service that provides physical, psychological, spiritual care, and comfort to those who are terminally ill and to their families. Hospice also offers grief support to families and community members who have experienced a loss.

Founded in 1981, Hospice of St. Mary's was started by a group of community volunteers under the direction of Dr. Patrick Jarboe. After several decades, we continue to provide high quality and compassionate end-of-life care for our patients and their families.
